JP Custom Leatherworks is a family owned and operated business specializing in firefighting and EMS leather gear, built by hand in Whiting, New Jersey since 2016.
The idea for JP Custom Leatherworks came in 2015, when we noticed there weren't many companies offering a quality leather product with the design flexibility first responders want. In September 2016 we took the leap: we ordered every tool, machine, and side of leather we needed, then spent months learning the craft through articles, forums, videos, and a ton of practice.
In November 2016 we launched our first online store. We've been growing faster than we ever expected since.
